High converting landing pages are focused on one goal, which means they don’t have anything that could distract your visitors from reaching the goal.

They are stripped of most all of the stuff you would typically find on a website.

This means….No outbound links
No text or images that don’t drive action or invoke emotion (like the buying kind)
No options
No fluff.

landing page = lower ad spend

Maybe you’ve tried to run ads in the past, and you got little to no results.

You might even be wondering if Google and Facebook are just telling you that they are showing your ads and people are clicking just so they can swipe your little credit card until it catches on fire.

Trying to convert leads off of a form attached to a Facebook ad is harder than cold-calling your own competitors and trying to convince them to hire your services because you are better than they are.

And…. If you are running Facebook or Google ads to your website’s homepage, then you are literally wasting your money.

In almost every industry and niche, ads running to lead forms and homepages rarely (if ever) convert visitors into clients.

Want to know the secret to turning ad clickers into paying customers?

Landing pages. (What were you really expecting something different on a page that is literally titled, "Landing Pages") **eye roll**

So… what’s the difference between a landing page and a website page?

Similar to how an ad has one purpose (get clicks), a landing page also has one purpose. To convert clickers into customers.

Landing pages are web pages focused on conversion. They should only have one way in and one way out.

A customer enters a landing page, usually from an ad and they leave after they give you their information.

Well I guess they could just close the page, but we’ll give it everything we’ve got to get them to give you the goods. 😉

A well-crafted, laser focused landing page will take your ad clickers, force them to read your content, enter their information and convert.

Landing pages are built with all the right stuff to speak directly to your clients fears, desires, frustrations, and almost force them to read all of your juicy content and not leave until you have their contact info.

There is something else about landing pages that’s maybe even more important than all the great stuff they have….. it’s the stuff they don’t have.

I already have a website, why do I need a landing page?

A landing page and a website serve two different purposes. When a visitor lands on the homepage of your website they are looking for some information about your company and looking for some answers to their questions. The good website takes a user on a journey through your site and encouraging them to to take action after they find what they are looking for.
A landing page is different than a website because it addresses one specific problem or pain point that the customer is experiencing and provides a solution to that problem. Landing pages are hyper focused on a singular issue and showing how your company can solve their problem with your products or services.
Because they are hyper focused on solving the customers burning problem, landing pages convert at a higher rate than a website homepage which means you get to enjoy a higher rate of return on your ad spend.

How many landing pages do I need?

This is really easy to answer. You need one page for every service you provide. Landing pages as opposed to your website's home page has the ability to keep your customer's attention hyper focused so you can show them how you can solve their hair on fire problem and get them to book a call with you. By running ads for a specific service to a landing page that is only talking about that one service, you prevent your customer from getting distracted and bouncing off of your site and never contacting you.

If landing pages are so great, why do I need a website.

In some cases you don't, but I wouldn't make that decision without thoroughly understanding your customers and your market. A lot of your customers are going to want to go look at your website, research your company and understand who they are dealing with before they decide to jump into a relationship with you. Without a website as your central marketing hub, you could lose some of the interest of some of your hottest leads you capture on your landing pages. Also, a website is far better at ranking on Google (SEO) and capturing organic traffic from a customer who is in research mode than a targeted ad and landing page.
